Thousands of
academics and researchers at all levels of experience and across all
disciplines already use Twitter daily, there are a few ideas on how to
successfully use Twitter in education. one of the best things about Twitter is
that the tool enables direct contact with leaders in any given field. Encourage
students to ask questions from famous scientists. Even if they don’t
immediately reply, other experts may try to answer the student’s enquiry, most
of the scientists and experts attempt to make up-to-date information daily Also
by creating their own hashtag, students can invite participants from around the
world to take part in instant research by contributing to a live discussion on
any issue. Furthermore, Students may wish to quote some of the responses to a
Twitter chat in their research – a great way to provide immediacy and
individual views to project work. Help your fellow students get a better
understanding of a hard topic for class. If you found an interesting article, a
website or even someone worth following on Twitter, share it with other
students. The same goes for teachers, who should definitely share educational
materials and links with students using Twitter as the main platform.
